Long before she became a candidate, Rose Lucenti was doing the kind of work that brings you face to face with what people need from state government.

During her 45 years at the Vermont Department of Labor, Rose worked with Vermonters looking for work, recovering after layoffs, learning new skills, entering apprenticeships, and rebuilding stability after difficult times. She spent ten years in Unemployment Compensation and 35 years in Workforce Development, eventually serving as Director of Workforce Development.

That experience shaped Rose’s belief that public service should start with listening, and it should stay focused on practical results. She believes government should be useful and accountable to the people it serves.

Rose has lived in Randolph for 35 years, where she raised her family and is now a proud grandmother. Over the years, she has served her community through the local craft center, youth soccer, food support efforts, town government, and neighbor to neighbor work. She has also served as a Justice of the Peace and assistant town clerk.

Rose is running for State Senate to bring steady, people-first leadership to Orange County, with a focus on affordability, strong schools, good jobs, accessible health care, housing, and a state government that works for all Vermonters.
